Early life and Education
Vaynerchuk was born in the Soviet Union’s Babruysk and came to the United States when he was three years old. He is Jewish and of Ashkenazi heritage. Vaynerchuk grew raised in New York City’s Queens District before moving to Edison, New Jersey. He began working in his family’s retail wine business when he was 14 years old.
